Departing at 5:00 p.m. A walk through the Lamkail rainforest by torchlight with your guide Sam Lop is surely one of the more amusing and enjoyable experiences on Tanna. Sam is very proud of this natural treasure and will show you the habitats of the night creatures that live there. Starting with the flying fox as you watch them leave their trees at dusk in search of food. Sam will take you on a search through the forest for wild chickens, sleeping doves, hermit crabs and the elusive coconut crab. You may see them all but you will enjoy looking for them!
